Ep 18. Take Me To Church

In Last Man Standing season 6 episode 18, titled "Take Me To Church," Mike and Vanessa try to convince Mandy and Kyle to attend church on Sundays with them. Mandy is hesitant as she feels that church is not for her but, with some persuasion from Vanessa, she decides to give it a try. Mike and Vanessa are on a mission to go to church every Sunday, but they're having trouble convincing their kids to go with them. Mike enjoys the church's traditional format and is focused on his prayers, but Vanessa, who is not used to this level of formality, finds her mind wandering. During the service, there is an offering being collected, but Mike has forgotten to bring his wallet, leaving Vanessa in a panic. They manage to find a loophole by giving a check, but Vanessa is still not convinced.

In the meantime, Eve has a school project that requires her to select a partner for a presentation, but she is hesitant. Her teacher is not pleased and Eve's grade takes a hit. She then turns to her family for advice and help, but even they cannot rescue her from the consequences of her omission.

As the episode progresses, Mandy and Kyle continue to struggle with the traditional church experience, while Mike and Vanessa try to convince them that the church experience will grow on them. The interaction with Baxter's ex-wife remains both strange and comic at the same time. Meanwhile, Eve realizes the impact of her mistake and learns a valuable lesson about being accountable and responsible.
