Washington, D.C. is a bustling city with a rich history. In the season 2 premiere of Late Nite Eats, the host Jordan Andino takes viewers on a culinary tour of the nation's capital. Throughout the episode, he visits some of the city's most popular late-night food spots.

First stop, Andino heads to The Diner, a 24-hour restaurant in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. Known for their classic diner fare and boozy milkshakes, The Diner is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Andino takes us inside the kitchen to sample some of their signature dishes, such as the Breakfast poutine and beer-battered shrimp po' boy sandwich.

Next, Andino heads to Georgetown to check out Jetties, a sandwich shop known for their delicious smashed avocado toast and fresh seafood sandwiches. He meets with the owner to learn more about their commitment to sustainability and how they source their ingredients. Andino samples some of their most popular sandwiches, including the Old Bay-Sho' Nuff and the Lobster BLT.

The next stop on Andino's tour takes him to Pow Pow, a vegan-friendly Chinese-American restaurant in the H Street Corridor. This funky spot is known for their creative take on classic dishes, such as the General's Tso Tofu and the vegan dumplings. Andino meets with the chef and owner, who shares her story and passion for creating delicious, plant-based food.

Andino then heads to Negril, a Caribbean restaurant in the Shaw neighborhood. This family-owned restaurant has been serving up authentic Jamaican dishes for over 20 years. Andino samples some of their most popular dishes, including the jerk chicken and oxtail stew, and learns about the restaurant's history and connection to the community.

Finally, Andino wraps up his tour at The Block, a food hall in the heart of D.C. Here, he samples a variety of different dishes from different vendors, including a spicy ramen bowl, Korean fried chicken, and tacos. Andino meets with the vendors to learn more about their backgrounds and inspiration for their dishes.

Throughout the episode, Andino also shares historical facts and anecdotes about the different neighborhoods and landmarks he visits. He explores the city's unique dining scene and showcases the diverse range of cuisines that can be found in Washington, D.C.
