Ep 1. Prophecy (1)

Prophecy (1) is the first episode in the first season of Legend of the Seeker. The episode introduces us to the world of the Seeker, a mythical figure known as the one who is destined to defeat the evil ruler of the Midlands, Darken Rahl. The Seeker is the one who is destined to wield the Sword of Truth, a powerful weapon that can kill even the most powerful of foes. Kahlan, who is also revealed to be the last confessor, an ancient order of women who are able to control people's minds with a single touch, explains that the Sword of Truth can only be wielded by the Seeker and that he must embark on a perilous journey to find it.

Richard is initially reluctant to accept his fate as the Seeker, but Kahlan convinces him that he has no choice and that the safety of the entire Midlands is at stake. Meanwhile, Rahl, who is revealed to be a sadistic and power-hungry ruler, is also looking for the Seeker so that he can kill him and destroy the prophecy.

As Richard sets out on his journey with Kahlan and Zed, he discovers that his own father was killed by Rahl's minions and that his brother is also in danger. The trio encounters many obstacles on their journey, including deadly magical creatures, treacherous terrain, and ambushes by Rahl's minions.

At the end of the episode, Richard and his companions finally reach the place where the Sword of Truth is hidden, but they are ambushed by Rahl's minions and forced to fight for their lives. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Richard prepares to use the Sword of Truth for the first time and fulfill his destiny as the Seeker.

Prophecy (1) sets the stage for an epic fantasy adventure that will take Richard and his companions on a journey across the Midlands as they battle against Rahl's minions and try to bring peace to their troubled land.
