Ep 3. Losing It

Theresa Caputo, aka the Long Island Medium, returns for another emotional episode of season 2. This week's episode is titled Losing It, and as the name suggests, it features several individuals who are struggling to cope with the death of a loved one.

The first reading of the episode is for a woman named Patty, whose husband passed away two months earlier. Patty is still in shock and struggling to accept his death. Theresa senses that Patty's husband is sending her signs that he is still with her and wants Patty to move forward.

Next up is a reading for a woman named Nina, whose son passed away tragically. Nina is a devout Catholic and is having trouble reconciling her belief in heaven with the sudden loss of her son. Theresa assures Nina that her son is in a good place and always with her.

The third reading is for a family who lost their son in a car accident. The son's girlfriend is present, and she is having a hard time closing the door on their relationship. Theresa connects with the son and lets his girlfriend know that he wants her to be happy and move on with her life.

The episode then takes a break from the readings and follows Theresa as she takes on the challenge of learning to ride a motorcycle. After getting fitted for a helmet and some protective gear, Theresa hits the road with her instructor. It's a lighthearted and fun moment in an otherwise emotional episode.

The readings then continue with a woman named Lisa, whose son passed away from an overdose. Lisa is struggling with guilt and regret and is haunted by the fact that she wasn't able to save him. Theresa helps Lisa realize that she did everything she could and that her son is at peace.

The final reading of the episode is for a woman named Judy, who lost her husband to a sudden heart attack. Judy is still in shock and can't bring herself to clean out her husband's closet. Theresa connects with her husband and lets Judy know that he is okay and wants her to take care of herself.

Throughout all of the readings, Theresa is her usual comforting and compassionate self. She offers each of her clients a sense of peace and closure that they desperately need. The episode is a reminder that while losing a loved one is never easy, there is always hope and healing to be found.
