Lookalikes was a reality TV show that aired on Channel 4 from 2015-2018. The show centered around a group of celebrity impersonators who worked for a lookalike agency based in Eastbourne, England. The main character and owner of the agency was Tim Oliver, who was himself a lookalike of David Beckham.

The show followed the daily lives and struggles of the lookalikes, as they tried to make a living by attending events and parties dressed as celebrities. The cast included Andy Harmer, who played the part of Gordon Ramsay, and Charlie Hopkinson, who impersonated Russell Brand. Other impersonators included those of Britney Spears, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry.

The show bore a striking resemblance to The Only Way Is Essex, with its staged scenarios and dramatized conflicts. The show was known for its humorous moments, such as when the Gordon Ramsay lookalike was asked to cook a meal for a group of vegetarians, or when the Prince Harry lookalike was caught smoking at a public event. The show was also notorious for its moments of controversy, such as when the lookalike of Katie Price (previously known as Jordan) was accused of racism for telling a black man that he looked like Will Smith.

Despite the staged scenarios and controversies, the show was generally well-received by audiences, who found it to be a lighthearted and entertaining take on the world of celebrity lookalikes. The show was also praised for its engaging cast of characters, who were all well-defined and uniquely quirky in their own way.

One of the standout moments of the show was when the David Beckham lookalike, Tim Oliver, was offered the chance to meet his idol in real life. The scene was emotional and heartwarming, as Oliver was visibly moved by meeting the man he had spent so many years impersonating.

The show lasted for three seasons, with the final episode airing in 2018. The show's cancellation was met with disappointment by fans, who had grown attached to the show's cast of characters and their eccentric lifestyles. However, the show's legacy lives on, as it remains a cult classic among reality TV enthusiasts.

In conclusion, Lookalikes was a reality TV show that centered around a group of celebrity impersonators who worked for a lookalike agency. The show was known for its humorous and sometimes controversial moments, as well as its engaging cast of characters. While the show only lasted for three seasons, it remains a beloved cult classic among reality TV enthusiasts.
