Lord Marksman and Vanadis is a medieval fantasy anime series, set in a fictional world where seven kingdoms fight for dominance. The series follows a young archer named Tigrevurmud Vorn, who becomes embroiled in the battles between these kingdoms after he is kidnapped by the legendary War Maiden, Eleonora Viltaria. They learn that she is being held in a heavily-guarded fortress, which is almost impossible to breach. However, Tigre has a plan, and he and Eleonora begin to put it into action. They sneak into the fortress under the cover of darkness, taking out guards along the way. But as they draw closer to Titta's prison cell, they discover that she has already been moved to another location.

Frustrated but undeterred, Tigre and Eleonora continue their mission. They come across a group of prisoners who reveal that Titta has been taken to the Duke's mansion, where she is being held as a bargaining chip. Tigre and Eleonora devise a new plan, and they soon find themselves inside the mansion, disguised as Duke Thenardier's guests. The tension builds as they search for Titta, knowing that they must remain calm and composed in order to achieve their goal.

Finally, Tigre and Eleonora come face-to-face with Duke Thenardier himself, who tries to use Titta as a bargaining chip to force Tigre to join his army. But Tigre refuses, and instead challenges Thenardier to a duel. The two engage in a fierce battle, with Tigre using his archery skills to gain the upper hand. However, just as he is about to deliver the final blow, he is interrupted by the arrival of another enemy army.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Tigre and Eleonora forced to retreat and leave Titta behind. They are left to face a new challenge, as they try to outrun the enemy army and find a way to rescue Titta once and for all. With its gripping storyline, intense action scenes, and well-developed characters, Lord Marksman and Vanadis season 1 episode 9 is a must-see for fans of the genre.
