In Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions - Heart Throb Season 2 Episode 1, titled "E 1," we see the return of our beloved characters Rikka Takanashi and Yuta Togashi, who are now in their second year of high school. Despite starting their new school year, Rikka still hasn't given up her chunibyo delusions, causing her to frequently get into silly situations with Yuta.

In this episode, we see Rikka and Yuta enjoying their summer break together. However, their peace is soon interrupted by Kumin Tsuyuri, a friend of Rikka's who suggests they should go on a trip to the beach. Initially hesitant about the idea, Rikka eventually agrees to go, and they all set off to the seaside.

At the beach, Rikka and Yuta start to bond more, with Yuta grateful for the time they are spending together. However, things take a turn when Rikka starts to have her chunibyo delusions and believes that a creature from the sea has captured Yuta. She then begins to launch an attack on the sea, causing chaos amongst the beach-goers.

As the episode progresses, we see the other members of the group introduce themselves, including Shinka Nibutani, who had previously distanced herself from Rikka due to her chunibyo behavior. Shinka is surprised to see that Rikka has not changed and is still going strong with her delusions, causing some tension between the two.

Overall, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions - Heart Throb Season 2 Episode 1 is a fun and light-hearted episode, showing the growth of Rikka and Yuta's relationship, as well as introducing new characters and setting up potential conflicts for future episodes.
