As a timely fashion shows up, the students are tasked with preparing for the Culture Festival, and everyone's excitedly making plans for what to showcase. Yuuta and Rikka are discussing their own ideas together and it seems they have their hearts set on performing a string ensemble of Grieg's "Peer Gynt". Having played cello before, Yuuta is confident that he can pull off his part, however, Rikka has never played an instrument before and is unfortunately tone-deaf. However, Rikka is determined to learn and enlists the help of her sister and friends to teach her. Meanwhile, Kumin and Shinka agree on a group skit performance, however, they struggle to come up with a solid, entertaining idea.

As they continue their plans for the festival, the group becomes aware of a strange rumor that surrounds one of the school's club competetion. According to the rumor, the competition will be rigged in favor of the literature club, and the other clubs will have no chance of winning. Despite their doubts, Yuuta, Shinka, and Makoto head off to the competition together, hoping to dispel the rumors and find out the truth. They arrive just in time to see the literature club's performance, a dramatic play called "The Cabin in the Woods". The play is incredibly well-written and features great acting from the literature club members, leaving the trio convinced that the rumor must be true.

Back at school, the group wonders what they should do with this information. Yuuta is troubled that the festival may be rigged as well, and his suspicions are only heightened when the literature club's advisor, Nanase-sensei, begins to visit their class more frequently. While he's not entirely certain that there's cause for alarm, Yuuta can't shake the feeling that something underhanded may be going on behind-the-scenes. In an effort to get to the bottom of things, he and his friends begin a covert investigation of the festival planning committee, determined to find out if there are any shenanigans afoot.

As their investigation progresses, they meet with the various group leaders and are initially relieved to find no evidence of foul play. However, when they finally speak with Nanase, they discover that the literature club's win was actually a coincidence. It turns out that their play was originally written for another competition, but they changed their minds at the last minute and entered the Culture Festival instead. As it so happened, the competition judges were able to appreciate the quality of their work and awarded them the top prize.

With this mystery solved, Yuuta and his friends can finally focus on their own preparations for the festival. Rikka continues to practice her cello, inspired by Yuuta's encouragement and unwavering faith that she'll be able to play well. Kumin and Shinka finally come to an agreement on their skit concept, and the group works tirelessly to perfect their performances in time for the big day.

As the Culture Festival approaches, everyone is excited to show off their hard work and enjoy the festivities. However, as the day wears on, tensions begin to rise and it becomes clear that not everything is going according to plan. Will their performances go off without a hitch, or will they fall victim to unexpected obstacles?
