Ep 12. Radical Redesign

Emily and Ken have lived in their current home for over a decade and are at a crossroads. With three young children, they're outgrowing the house and need more space, but they also love their neighborhood and don't want to leave it behind. That's where Love It or List It, Too host Jillian and real estate agent Todd come in.

To solve this issue, she decides to move the kitchen to the other side of the house, where there's more space. This not only allows her to create a larger, more functional kitchen, but it also gives her the opportunity to design a separate pantry with plenty of storage.

Throughout the renovation, Jillian and her team encounter unexpected issues, from rotten floor joists to faulty electrical wiring. But they take it all in stride and work together to come up with creative solutions.

Meanwhile, Todd is hard at work finding Emily and Ken properties that meet their wishlist. They're looking for a larger home with plenty of outdoor space, a finished basement, and a commute that's not too far from Ken's job.

Todd shows the couple several properties, each with its own unique features. One property has a huge yard and a beautiful pool, but it's further from Ken's work than they had hoped. Another property has a finished basement, but it's a bit small for their growing family. Todd also takes them to see a property that meets all their criteria, but the price is higher than they can afford.

As Emily and Ken weigh their options, Jillian races to finish the renovation before they make their decision. The tension builds as the clock ticks down to the big reveal. Will they be blown away by the new and improved home, or will they decide to list it and start fresh in a new place?
