Misaki Ayuzawa is the first female student council president of Seika High School. She works hard to ensure that the male students don't cause any trouble while trying to maintain her reputation as a no-nonsense leader. In the sixth episode of season one, titled "Men and the Ayuzawa Cram School," Misaki tries to expand her authority beyond the school by opening a cram school for boys.

Before the start of the episode, Misaki learns that the nearby cram school has been shut down due to a lack of students. She sees an opportunity to show that she can handle boys outside of school and decides to open her own cram school. Shizuko, one of Misaki's friends, expresses her concern about the idea, stating that men might not be interested in attending a cram school run by a woman.

Misaki, however, is determined to prove her friend wrong. She begins to advertise the cram school by handing out flyers, and Yukimura and Sakurai, two of Misaki's loyal followers, assist her with the effort. They even try to get Usui, a popular male student who has a reputation for being aloof and uninterested in anything, to show up at the cram school. Misaki clearly has a crush on Usui, but he doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Despite this, she still wants him to attend the cram school so that she can prove to everyone that she can teach even the most difficult students.

When the day of the first class arrives, Misaki is disappointed to see that only three students have shown up. The first student is a tough-looking guy named Kuuga, who goes to Seika High School but has never talked to Misaki before. The second student is a young boy named Chiharu who is easily scared, and the third student is a nerd named Soutarou. Misaki tries her best to teach them, but she quickly realizes that it is not easy to deal with the different personalities of her students.

During the class, Kuuga starts to mess around, causing Misaki to lose her patience. She tries to get him to behave, but he refuses to listen to her. Usui shows up at the cram school, but he doesn't join the class, preferring to sit in the back and observe. After the class, Misaki gets into an argument with Kuuga, and Usui intervenes by telling Kuuga to stop being disrespectful to Misaki. His words have an effect on Kuuga, who later shows up at the cram school again with a more positive attitude.

As the days go by, more students start to come to Misaki's cram school, including some from other schools. Misaki's approach to teaching begins to warm the hearts of some of her students, and even Usui begins to show more interest in attending the classes. Misaki's dream to prove that she can handle boys outside of school starts to become a reality.

In the final scene of the episode, Misaki receives a call from the woman who owns the neighboring cram school. The woman wants to know what Misaki is doing to attract so many students to her own cram school. Misaki tells the woman that she is just doing her best, but the woman clearly doesn't believe her. Misaki sees the phone call as a challenge, and she is more determined than ever to make her cram school a success.

Overall, "Men and the Ayuzawa Cram School" is a heartwarming and humorous episode that showcases Misaki's determination and hard work. Viewers get to see a different side of Misaki as she tries to navigate the challenges of teaching students outside of school. The episode also gives more insight into the character of Usui, who is still something of a mystery at this point in the series.
