Ep 4. Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire

In Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 episode 4 named "Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire," the S.H.I.E.L.D. team tries to locate Robbie Reyes, the Ghost Rider, who has gone missing. Daisy Johnson, who has been working with Reyes to track down his uncle, Eli Morrow, is also on the hunt for him. Meanwhile, Coulson and Mack investigate a ghostly phenomenon in a building that was once owned by the Watchdogs, a group of anti-Inhuman militants.

As Daisy and Reyes search for clues, they come across a group of mercenaries who are also after Reyes. The mercenaries, led by Lucy Bauer, a former S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist who was presumed dead, are looking for something called the "Darkhold," an ancient book with powerful knowledge on the supernatural. Reyes knows about the book because his uncle, Eli, has been using it to enhance his own abilities and wreak havoc in the city.

Coulson and Mack, with the help of their new ally, a former Watchdog named Robbie, confront Lucy and her team after they find out that the mercenaries have infiltrated the building. Together, the group fights off Lucy's forces and manages to retrieve the Darkhold, but not before a shocking twist threatens to shake them to their core.

Meanwhile, Fitz and Simmons continue to work on finding a way to get Coulson and May out of the alternate virtual reality they are trapped in. With the help of Radcliffe, they make progress but encounter unexpected obstacles along the way.
