Jane’s (Josie Bissett) wedding day starts off as a dream come true. She is marrying the man she loves, Michael (Thomas Calabro), and everything seems to be going perfectly. Meanwhile, Amanda (Heather Locklear) is being offered a job in New York City, which is causing her to rethink her priorities and consider leaving Los Angeles. While Amanda is figuring out what she wants to do with her life, Michael is struggling to balance his love for Jane with his feelings for Kimberly (Marcia Cross).

Things take a dark turn when Michael’s estranged mother, Barbara (Judith Baldwin), shows up unexpectedly. She is rude and abrasive, causing tension among the wedding guests.
