In Misfit Garage season 5 episode 4 titled "Chasing a Six Figure Dream," the team at Fired Up Garage is back at it again, working on their latest project. This time, they've got their eyes set on a 1969 Camaro that they hope to build into a six-figure muscle car.
The episode kicks off with John Klump, the owner of the Camaro, bringing it into the garage for the team to check out. After inspecting the car, Tom Smith, the leader of Fired Up Garage, decides that they'll need to do a full restoration in order to make it worthy of a six-figure price tag.
From there, the team gets to work, starting with stripping the car down to its bare bones. As they work, they encounter some unexpected challenges, including a rusted-out frame and a damaged firewall. But the misfit crew perseveres, using their expertise and creativity to come up with solutions to all of their problems.
As the project continues, tensions rise in the garage. Tom and Jordan Butler, another member of the team, clash over the best approach to take with the car. Tom is adamant that they need to stick to their original plan, but Jordan thinks they should be more open-minded and try some new things.
While the guys work on the Camaro, they also take on a few other side projects, including a custom golf cart for Tom's daughter and a go-kart for one of their clients. These small diversions prove to be a welcome break from their intense work on the Camaro.
Finally, after weeks of hard work, the project is complete. The team unveils the finished product to John Klump, and he's blown away by the transformation. The car is a true masterpiece, with flawless bodywork and a powerful engine that roars to life with the turn of a key.
As the show ends, Tom and the rest of the Fired Up Garage crew reflect on the project and what it means to them. For Tom, it's all about chasing the dream of building the perfect car and pushing himself to be the best he can be. The rest of the team agrees, and they look forward to taking on new challenges and building even more amazing cars in the future.
