Spinner wants to be a songwriter just like his pop, Holley. And when he listens to nature's sounds in the meadow, it inspires him to compose his first song. Trouble is, by the time Spinner gets back to the Cozy Hole to sing his new tune to his parents, he's forgotten the melody! Try as he might he just can't remember his special song. So Holley teaches him how to use a "Melody Catcher" - a musical staff made out of spider webs, with real spiders for the notes! When Holley assigns Spinner and his seven brothers and sisters each a note, Spinner realizes they can sing a scale. This way, next time Spinner thinks of a song he can use the melody catcher to capture t. Now if only he could remember how his special melody went. When he returns to the meadow, the nature sounds jog his memory and Spinner remembers his song! And with his brothers and sisters acting as notes, Spinner captures it forever on his "Melody Catcher!";Squirt, Spinner, Pansy, Snowdrop and Wiggle's hatchday is just two days away and they can't decide what kind of party to have. They all want something different. Squirt is tired of always sharing a party with his siblings and decides to throw a party for himself, while his sibs throw a separate party. The kids are disappointed when no one shows up at either party. Squirt decides that sharing a party is better than having none. When they race home to salvage what's left of their hatchday, they find out why nobuggy showed up for their parties. Everybuggy is at the Hollow Tree waiting to throw them a surprise party!
