In season 1 episode 3 of Mission Unstoppable, titled "Nets, Neighborhoods and NASA," viewers are taken on a journey through the worlds of engineering, urban planning, and space exploration. Host Miranda Cosgrove introduces a diverse cast of experts who share their unique perspectives on how to tackle some of the most pressing problems facing society.

The episode kicks off with a visit to a neighborhood in New York City, where we meet Jukay Hsu, the founder of C4Q, a nonprofit that provides free coding classes and job training to low-income individuals. Hsu explains how his organization is working to bridge the digital divide by providing people with the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy. He shows us how C4Q is empowering people of all ages to become coders and software developers, and how they're helping to create a more inclusive and equitable tech industry.

Next, we shift gears and head to Atlanta to meet Kevin Caravati, a civil engineer who is using his expertise to build sustainable infrastructure that can withstand the impacts of climate change. Caravati takes us on a tour of his latest project, a stormwater management system that uses green infrastructure to reduce flooding and improve water quality. He explains how this innovative approach can save cities millions of dollars in infrastructure costs, while also creating new opportunities for urban farming and community engagement.

After that, we head to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California to meet Tracy Drain, a systems engineer who is helping to design the next generation of robotic explorers for space. Drain gives us an inside look at what it takes to build and launch a spacecraft, from designing the hardware to programming the software. She also shares some of the challenges that come with working on such complex and risky projects, and how she and her team are constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space exploration.

Finally, we return to New York for a visit to the Brooklyn Nets, where we meet Dr. Kristin Bernert, the team's chief medical officer. Dr. Bernert gives us a behind-the-scenes look at how she and her team are keeping the Nets players healthy and safe, both on and off the court. She shares some of the latest techniques and technologies being used in sports medicine, and how her team is working to prevent and treat injuries through a combination of data analysis, physical therapy, and other holistic approaches.

Throughout the episode, host Miranda Cosgrove ties these stories together with her own infectious curiosity and enthusiasm for science and technology. She engages each expert in a lively conversation, asking insightful questions and offering her own perspective on how these innovations can transform society for the better. Through her infectious energy and passion, she helps viewers see the world through a fresh, new lens and inspires us all to become more engaged and empowered stakeholders in shaping the world around us.
