On this episode of Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking, host Pete Evans heads to the tropical paradise of Maui, Hawaii to meet up with acclaimed Chef Sheldon Simeon. Sheldon takes Pete to a local farmer’s market to select fresh ingredients from the abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables, and seafood available on the island.

After a few stops at some local shops and purveyors, Sheldon and Pete head to a traditional Hawaiian luau to prepare the feast. The feast also includes a fresh catch of swordfish from a local fisherman, which Sheldon prepares by searing it to perfection and pairing it with a tangy pineapple salsa. Pete and Sheldon also try their hand at cooking coconut rice and a refreshing papaya and cucumber salad.
