In season 6 episode 5 of Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking, the crew travels to the beautiful island of Bermuda to explore the local cuisine and culture. Host Pete Evans is joined by local chef Tim Sullivan as they begin their culinary adventure.
Their first stop is a local farm where they meet farmer Tom Wadson, who shows them around his fields and introduces them to some of his fresh produce. Pete and Tim then head to a nearby beach where they set up a beachside feast using the ingredients Tom provided.
The menu includes a delicious spiny lobster dish cooked over an open fire, as well as roasted cauliflower with Bermuda honey and a refreshing kale and mango salad. Local musician Joy T. Barnum joins the group for the meal and provides some lively entertainment.
Next, the crew visits a local fish market where they meet fisherman Weldon Wade, who takes them out on his boat to catch some fresh tuna. Back on shore, Pete and Tim prepare a flavorful ceviche with the freshly caught fish, which they serve up on a picturesque cliff overlooking the ocean.
The final stop on their Bermuda tour is a visit to one of the island's most popular food trucks, traveling restaurateur Kamilah Cannonier's Twisted Spoon. Kamilah serves up some of her signature dishes, including jerk chicken tacos and sweet potato nachos, while Pete and Tim learn more about her unique culinary background.
As the episode comes to a close, the group reflects on their time in Bermuda and the incredible food and hospitality they experienced. Viewers are left with a newfound appreciation for the island's culinary treasures and a desire to explore the destination for themselves.
