Host Pete Evans starts the episode visiting a local butcher shop, where he meets with Cambridge native and celebrated chef Tristan Welch. Together, they select some of the finest cuts of meat, including dry-age beef and lamb, that will be used to cook a feast for their guests later on in the episode.

Next, the show heads to a market in the heart of Cambridge, where Pete meets with a local cheese maker that produces some of the best cheeses in the region. The cheese maker takes Pete through the process of making cheese and Pete gets to taste some of the local specialties.

After the market, the show moves on to the famous Cambridge University Botanic Garden, where chef Tristan Welch shows Pete some of the exotic herbs, fruits, and vegetables grown in the garden. The pair then gather some of these ingredients, which will also be used to prepare the feast later in the episode.

For lunch, Pete and Tristan visit a local pub, where Tristan once worked as a chef. He shows Pete how to prepare one of the pub's signature dishes: a steak and ale pie. While they enjoy their meal, the two chefs discuss the importance of local ingredients and the role of the pub in the British culinary culture.

As the day turns to evening, Pete and Tristan head to a picturesque estate, where the feast will be held. They start preparing a variety of dishes, including grilled lamb chops, roasted vegetables, and a tomato and watermelon salad, all utilizing the ingredients gathered earlier in the episode.

The feast is accompanied by some of the finest wines from the local vineyards, and the guests are treated to a dynamic culinary experience that celebrates the local cuisine of Cambridge and the surrounding region.

The episode ends with Pete and Tristan sharing a drink, reflecting on the day and the importance of sharing stories through food and drink. The episode is a beautiful tribute to the culinary heritage of Cambridge and a wonderful showcase of the region's local ingredients and the local chefs who work with them.
