Ep 9. Saving Sawchuck

In My Dad the Rockstar season 2 episode 9, titled "Saving Sawchuck," Willy Zilla's father, Rock Zilla, discovers that his former bandmate, Sawchuck, is in trouble and needs his help. Sawchuck, who has been living in a retirement home, is being kicked out due to the facility's new policy of only accepting residents who possess a certain level of health and fitness.
Determined to help his friend, Rock Zilla devises a plan to get Sawchuck back into the retirement home. Willy and his bandmates, Serenity and Quincy, are excited to help out and offer to write a new song for Sawchuck's audition tape. However, when they hear the news that Sawchuck has been a saxophonist all along, they feel discouraged as they've never written a song for this instrument before.
Meanwhile, Sawchuck is feeling down on his luck and is considering giving up on his dreams and passions. He's having a hard time adjusting to his new lifestyle, and the thought of starting from scratch seems too daunting for him. However, when Rock Zilla visits him and tells him about their plan to get him back into the home, he becomes hopeful again and decides to give it his all.
Willy, Serenity, and Quincy work tirelessly to create a new song for Sawchuck's audition tape. They experiment with different sounds and styles until they finally create the perfect piece. When they play it for Sawchuck, he's touched by their effort and newfound appreciation for his instrument. He's excited to practice and perfect the song for his audition.
On the day of Sawchuck's audition, Rock Zilla accompanies him to the retirement home. He meets with the director, who initially seems hesitant to let Sawchuck back in. However, when Sawchuck plays the new song and shows his determination and passion for music, the director is convinced and offers him a spot in the home.
The episode ends with Sawchuck happily settling in his new home and practicing his saxophone. Willy and his bandmates feel proud of themselves and happy that they were able to help a friend in need. They also realize that they've grown as musicians and songwriters, pushing themselves out of their comfort zones and creating something new.
