But his rival, O.C. Marsh, also sought to claim this discovery as his own, and the bitter feud between the two became known as the "Bone Wars." Wildman explores the surprising ways in which this rivalry led to an explosion of fossil discoveries, and also examines some of the enduring mysteries that still surround these ancient beasts.
