In each 1 hour episode, 2 people with unusual ailments, hard to diagnose, are featured. Diane Dike was a happy twenty-three-year-old special education teacher who recently married her high school sweetheart. One day, she noticed 2 red bumps on her foot and thought they were insect bites. The next day she awoke with a swollen leg, and she couldn't walk. Like Diane Dike, many of these people go through misdiagnoses until they find the real diagnosis. In Ms. Dike's case, she was diagnosed with a hematoma.
