The situation causes him much grief and embarrassment, and he decides to quit music altogether.

Back in Tokyo, Nodame has come to the decision to follow her heart and chase after Chiaki in Europe, but her efforts are thwarted by her parents who refuse to let her go. But Nodame is not one to give up easily and she finds various creative ways to secure a ticket to Europe while trying to dodge her parents' watchful eyes.

Upon reaching Chiaki in Europe, Nodame finally expresses her true feelings towards him.
