As Nodame reflects on her missed opportunity to say goodbye to Chiaki, Tanya shows interest in why Nodame was so upset with missing her train. After hearing about Nodame and Chiaki's relationship, Tanya motivates Nodame to chase after Chiaki and declare her feelings for him.
Meanwhile, the orchestra has landed in Prague. They begin practicing and eventually participate in a joint performance with a local orchestra. Back in Tokyo, Nodame has come to the decision to follow her heart and chase after Chiaki in Europe, but her efforts are thwarted by her parents who refuse to let her go.
