Ep 7. Statler City Hotel

In Paranormal Lockdown season 2 episode 7, the investigative team of Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman visit the Statler City Hotel in Buffalo, New York. The hotel, originally built in 1923, has a rich history and has been the site of many reported paranormal occurrences. The hotel's grand ballroom, in particular, is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman who threw herself from a balcony during a party in the 1920s.

As soon as they arrive, Nick and Katrina feel a sense of unease and are immediately struck by the hotel's opulent decor. They begin their investigation by setting up their equipment throughout the hotel, including thermal imaging cameras and digital voice recorders. They then explore the hotel room-by-room, attempting to make contact with any spirits that may be present.

Almost immediately, Nick and Katrina begin experiencing strange occurrences. They hear unexplained footsteps and disembodied voices, and they both feel as though they are being watched. In one room, they set up a trigger object -- a rocking chair -- and are shocked when the chair suddenly begins to rock on its own.

Throughout the investigation, Nick and Katrina begin to unravel the hotel's dark history. They learn that the hotel was once the site of illegal gambling and bootlegging during the Prohibition era, and that many of the hotel's guests disappeared without a trace. They also uncover evidence suggesting that the hotel was once used as a speakeasy and brothel.

As the night wears on, Nick and Katrina become increasingly convinced that they are not alone. They continue to hear unexplained noises and see strange shadows moving across the walls. In one particularly eerie moment, Nick captures a thermal imaging shot of what appears to be a figure standing in an empty hallway.

The investigation reaches its climax when Nick and Katrina enter the hotel's ballroom. They attempt to make contact with the ghost of the woman who reportedly haunts the space, but things quickly take a terrifying turn. As they ask questions into the darkness, they begin to hear a series of loud, unexplained noises. They soon realize that they may have angered one of the hotel's spirits.

Despite their fear, Nick and Katrina continue to press on, determined to uncover the truth about the hotel's paranormal activity. As they wrap up their investigation, they reflect on the evidence they have gathered and attempt to make sense of their experiences. Ultimately, they are left with more questions than answers, but they have no doubt that the Statler City Hotel is one of the most haunted places they have ever explored.
