In season 4 episode 19 of Pawn Stars, titled "Making Cents", the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop receive an interesting assortment of items from customers looking to make a deal.
First up is a 1922 high-relief Peace dollar that catches the eye of Rick Harrison. The rare coin features a design by famous sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens and is considered a coveted item among collectors. The customer hopes to make a good profit, but Rick must determine if the coin is authentic and worth the investment.
Next, a customer brings in a 1969 Ovation guitar once owned by rock & roll legend Chuck Berry. The guitar's unique design and history make it a valuable piece, but the shop's resident guitar expert, Jesse, must confirm its authenticity and condition before negotiating a fair price.
The third item to come through the doors is a curious 19th-century syringe for administering morphine, which the customer found at a garage sale. It's a strange and slightly eerie find, and the pawn shop staff must decide if there is any value to such a peculiar item.
Later in the episode, the team gets a visit from a fellow pawn shop owner hoping to trade a rare 1787 Brasher Doubloon for a 2008 Shelby GT500KR Mustang. It's a unique proposition, and Rick's negotiation skills will be put to the test to determine if the deal is worthwhile.
Finally, a customer brings in a collection of vintage Disney toys, featuring characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pinocchio. The collection is in excellent condition and could be worth a significant amount, but the team must determine a fair price and whether or not there is a market for such items.
As always, the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop must navigate the sometimes murky waters of determining authenticity, researching values, and negotiating prices with their customers. Episode 19 of season 4 of Pawn Stars, titled "Making Cents", promises to be another exciting installment in this hit reality series.
