In season 4, episode 25 of Pawn Stars, titled Silent and Deadly, the pawn shop opens its doors to a seemingly unassuming cowboy hat. The team has to determine whether the hat is authentic and decide if it's worth the high price that the seller is asking for.
Meanwhile, Rick and Corey have the opportunity to purchase a 1906 portable Edison phonograph, a device that was once considered cutting-edge technology and revolutionized the way people listened to music and other forms of audio. However, restoring the phonograph to its former glory and finding the right buyer for it may prove to be a challenging task.
Later in the episode, a woman brings in a set of antique throwing knives that she believes were once used by Native American warriors. Rick and Corey examine the knives and try to determine their true age and origin.
Finally, Chumlee is tasked with organizing the shop's annual Christmas party. However, he soon realizes that planning a party is harder work than he anticipated and struggles to find the perfect theme and activities for the event.
