As the fourth season of Pawn Stars continues, the fourth episode titled "Missile Attack" dives into some interesting and unique items that make their way into the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. The episode begins with a man bringing in a literal piece of history – a metal fragment from a missile that struck his home during the first Gulf War back in 1991. The fragment is large and impressive, and the seller is hoping to get top dollar for this piece of history. Rick and the gang at Gold & Silver are always interested in historical pieces, and they seek out an expert on missile fragments to verify the authenticity of this piece and determine its value.
Next up, a couple comes into the shop with a piece of artwork by the famous painter, LeRoy Neiman. Neiman's artwork is highly sought after, and his pieces can fetch high prices at auction. The painting is a portrait of boxer Joe Frazier, and it is signed by both Neiman and Frazier. The owners of the painting are looking to make a deal, but Rick and the team are very careful when it comes to artwork and need to be sure this piece is authentic before making an offer.
Later on, a man brings in an antique Indian motorcycle that he claims to have restored himself. Antique motorcycles are always in demand, and this one is no exception. It's a beautiful piece of machinery, and the seller is hoping to get a good price for his hard work. The team at Gold & Silver knows the value of these types of bikes, but they also know that this one needs a few repairs before it can be sold for top dollar.
Lastly, a woman comes in to try to sell her collection of Betsy McCall paper dolls. Betsy McCall was a popular doll and character from the 1950s and 1960s, and her paper dolls have become quite collectible. The collection includes several sets of dolls and various outfits, and the seller is hoping to make a deal to get rid of the collection. The team at Gold & Silver is less familiar with paper dolls, so they call in an expert to help them determine the value of these collectibles.
Throughout the episode, viewers get to see the inner workings of the pawn shop and how the team works with customers to determine the value of their items. Rick, Chumlee, Corey, and the rest of the team always approach each item with respect and a willingness to learn about its history and value. They understand that each item has a story behind it – whether it's a missile fragment, a piece of art, or a motorcycle – and they handle each piece with care. As always, Pawn Stars entertained, educated, and intrigued viewers with its unique blend of history, pop culture, and antiques.
