The sixth season of the world-renowned reality show Pawn Stars comes with yet another interesting episode titled "Free Willie." The show is based on the day-to-day happenings at the famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop located in Las Vegas. The series follows the daily life of the Harrison family, who run the pawn shop. The show primarily revolves around the transactions that happen in the shop as customers try to pawn, sell, or buy items.
In episode 24 of season 6 titled "Free Willie," Corey and Chumlee, two stars of the show, try to do whatever they can to prove who's the better employee. Meanwhile, Rick Harrison, the star of the show, has his hands full while trying to get the perfect deal on a signed guitar by the legendary singer, Willie Nelson. The guitar was personally signed by Nelson with a special message to the owner, which makes it even more valuable. Rick knows that getting his hands on this guitar could be a big win for the shop, so he leaves no stone unturned to convince the owner to sell it to him.
On the other hand, Chumlee, who is often the comic relief of the show, is put in charge of a classic Ms. Pac-Man arcade. He will have to put in his expert gaming skills and knowledge of arcades to ensure that they get a reasonable deal on it. Corey, who is Chumlee's friend, doesn't want to get left behind and decides to pit his skills against Chumlee's. He challenges Chumlee to a game of beer pong, and both of them bet on who will win in this classic drinking game.
As the day progresses, the customers with their unique items continue to pour into the Pawn Shop. One customer has brought in unique artwork that was handed down to him by his grandfather. It turns out that the work is made by a very famous artist whose artwork is sough after by collectors. However, there is no expert in the shop who can authenticate the piece, which means they will have to seek help from someone outside the shop to verify its authenticity before they can make an offer.
In another interesting transaction, a couple walks in with a unique piece of jewelry that they believe is worth a considerable sum of money. The piece is made with 18-carat gold and is inlaid with beautiful diamonds. The couple wants to sell it for a considerable profit. Rick is skeptical about the couple's claims and decides to bring in an expert to appraise the jewel. The expert's verdict will determine whether the couple has a rare piece that they can make money off or not.
In this episode, viewers are also treated to some funny moments when Rick surprises his friend with a giant, customized Chumlee bobblehead. The team at Pawn Stars are well known for their humor and lightheartedness, and this episode does not disappoint in terms of providing comic relief.
"Free Willie" is an episode full of interesting transactions, funny moments, and strategic betting.
