The episode begins with a customer bringing in a rare Gibson Thunderbird bass guitar. Rick and Corey are impressed by its pristine condition, and Rick is especially excited as he is a musician himself. However, they need to call in an expert to determine its authenticity and value before making an offer.
Next, a seller brings in a Civil War-era sword that he found while metal detecting. The sword appears to be authentic and in great condition, but they again call in an expert to get an accurate appraisal.
Later on, a man comes in with an antique rewards poster for the capture of notorious outlaw Jesse James. The poster is believed to be from the late 1800s and features a detailed description of James and a reward of $10,000 for his capture. The guys are intrigued by the historical significance of the item and are excited to learn more about it.
In addition to these unique items, the show also features interactions between the staff of the pawn shop, including Rick, Corey, Chumlee, and Austin "Chumdog" Russell. As always, there are plenty of laughs, negotiations, and surprises throughout the episode.
