Ep 6. Here Comes the Squirtle Squad

Ash, Misty, and Brock come across a gang of mischievous Squirtles who have formed a squad. The Squirtle Squad terrorizes a nearby town, and the trio is determined to find out why. They soon discover that the Squirtles have been driven to this behavior due to the mistreatment of their territory by a local fire department. Ash and his friends take it upon themselves to help the Squirtles and end up gaining their trust, and the trust of the town's inhabitants, in the process.

The episode starts with Ash and his team walking through the woods when they come across a gang of Squirtles wearing sunglasses and red bandanas, announcing themselves as the Squirtle Squad. The gang seems to be up to no good and Ash and his team try to intervene by challenging the Squirtle Squad to a battle. However, they are quickly outmatched by the sheer force of the Squirtle Squad and are left in a precarious situation.

Suddenly, a firefighter appears from the foliage and uses a flamethrower to drive off the Squirtle Squad. The trio is alarmed by the use of force, and Ash decides to investigate why the Squirtle Squad is causing such trouble. Soon, they discover that the Squirtles have been driven to this behavior due to the mistreatment of their territory by a local fire department.

The fire department had built a dam and a pipeline to use the nearby river as a water source. However, the construction had destroyed the natural habitat of the Squirtles, and they had been pushed out of their homes in the process. The Squirtles, left with no other option, formed the Squirtle Squad as a way to protect their remaining territory.

Ash, Misty, and Brock decide to help the Squirtles and win their trust. The three trainers start by cleaning up the Squirtles' habitat and building them a new home, with the help of their Pokémon. Over time, they build a special bond with the Squirtles and are able to convince them to stop their mischief.

However, trouble follows in the form of Team Rocket, who arrives with the usual goal of stealing the Squirtles. With the help of their Pokémon, Ash and his friends successfully ward off Team Rocket's plans and show the Squirtles that they can count on them for protection. Seeing Ash and his friends as their heroes, the Squirtles finally come to trust humans, including the members of the fire department.

In the end, the fire department agrees to revert their previous construction plans and help the Squirtles. The Squirtle Squad and the fire department build a friendship, and the residents of the neighboring town start to see the Squirtles in a new light. Ash and his team leave the Squirtles behind, happy they have helped them resolve their issues while forging new friendships along the way.
