Ep 2. Enter Iris and Axew!

After bidding farewell to Dawn, Ash is all set to begin his new journey in the Unova region. He arrives in the city of Striaton where he meets a young girl named Iris who has an unusual affinity for Dragon-type Pokémon. The two immediately hit it off and decide to travel together to discover all the secrets of the Unova region.

As they walk through the city, Ash's Pokedex begins to act up, indicating that there is a new Pokémon nearby. The group eventually stumbles upon a timid Axew who is being chased by a group of aggressive Pidove. With Iris' knowledge of Dragon-type Pokémon, Ash and Iris are able to successfully rescue Axew.

Iris takes a liking to Ash and decides to join him on his journey. She is determined to become a Dragon Master and feels that traveling with Ash will provide her with the experience she needs. The two set out on their journey with Pikachu and Axew in tow.

Their first adventure takes them deep into the forest where they meet a group of friendly Pokémon. However, they soon realize that the forest is under threat from a group of Trubbish that are polluting the area. Ash and Iris team up to save the forest by cleaning up the pollution.

As they continue on their journey, Ash and Iris encounter a trainer named Cilan who challenges Ash to a battle. Cilan is a skilled Pokemon Connoisseur and quickly gains the upper hand in the battle. However, Ash is able to make a comeback and defeat Cilan with his Pikachu.

After the battle, Cilan reveals that he is the Gym Leader of the Striaton City Gym and extends an invitation for Ash to challenge him in an official Gym Battle. Ash is thrilled at the opportunity and accepts the challenge.

As the episode comes to a close, Ash, Iris, and Pikachu continue on their journey, ready for whatever challenges await them in the Unova region.
