Still DRE, the 11th episode of Power's sixth season, follows the lives of James St. Patrick and his associates as they maneuver through complicated alliances and dangerous situations. As Ghost, played by Omari Hardwick, takes a leap towards his political future, he realizes that his past in the street won't leave him alone.

After the revelation of who shot James St. Patrick is finally revealed in the last episode, this episode begins with Ghost recuperating from the gunshot wound he sustained. As he reflects on his current state, Guilty Conscience by Eminem and Dr. Dre plays in the background, setting the tone for the episode.

As Ghost prepares to take the stage as Lieutenant Governor, he is met with hostility from Dre, played by Rotimi, who has been working with Vincent and Tate to take Ghost down. Meanwhile, Tasha, played by Naturi Naughton, is forced to make a difficult decision regarding her future that leads her to align herself with an unlikely ally.

The episode also features the intro of a new character, played by none other than the legendary Snoop Dogg. His appearance adds a fresh element to the show as we see him interact with other characters in ways that accommodate his actual life story.

As Ghost tries to balance politics and street life, he finds himself fighting old demons. This episode delivers a decent plot arc that ties up some of the loose ends left by the previous episode. The conflict between James and Dre takes on a new level of intensity as Dre attempts to betray James further in his bid to gain power. Ghost finds himself in an emotionally confusing state as the reality of becoming the Lieutenant Governor hits him, and he is forced to confront the ugly truths of his past.

There are multiple instances throughout the episode where viewers have to question whether or not characters are on Ghost's side, turning him into one of the most precarious characters on the show. By the end of the episode, James' political and personal life becomes more complicated, with ghost's loyalty questioned by several allies.

Overall, Still DRE is a well-constructed episode that continues the emotional rollercoaster of the previous chapters in the story. The character development is substantial, with most characters growing and changing in ways that feel organic. By the end of the episode, the stakes have been raised, and the tension is at an all-time high, leaving viewers eagerly awaiting the next episode.
