Ep 4. Night Terrors

Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal is a reality TV show that features children and teenagers who claim to have psychic abilities. In season 1 episode 4, called Night Terrors, viewers are introduced to three different children who are struggling with terrifying nightmares and visions.

The first child is 14-year-old Maddie, who has been having recurring nightmares about a little girl who is being held captive. Maddie's dreams are so vivid that she is terrified to go to sleep at night. She believes that her dreams are connected to a real-life missing child case in her hometown, and wants to use her psychic abilities to help locate the missing girl.

The second child is 12-year-old Tanner, who has been experiencing night terrors for as long as he can remember. He wakes up screaming and thrashing around, but cannot remember what he was dreaming about. Tanner's parents are at their wit's end and are hoping that the psychic mentors can help him overcome his night terrors.

The third child is 16-year-old Jake, who has been having disturbing visions of death and destruction. Jake explains that he sees images of natural disasters, like hurricanes and earthquakes, and fears that they might be premonitions. He also experiences intense emotions when he touches certain objects, which he believes is a form of psychometry.

Throughout the episode, the psychic mentors work with Maddie, Tanner, and Jake to help them understand and control their psychic abilities. They teach them different techniques, like visualization and grounding, to help them feel more in control of their visions and emotions. The mentors also help the children to confront their fears and anxiety, and to learn how to use their psychic abilities to help others.

One of the mentors, Chip Coffey, takes Maddie to a local park where the missing child case has been focused. He asks Maddie to use her psychic abilities to help locate the missing girl. Maddie is able to provide some specific details about the girl's location, and the police are able to use that information to launch a search. While the girl is not found during the episode, the psychic mentors are able to give Maddie hope and a sense of purpose that she can use her psychic abilities to help others.

Meanwhile, the other mentors work with Tanner and Jake to help them gain control over their night terrors and visions. They teach them how to meditate and use breathing techniques to calm their minds and bodies, and give them tools to help them stay grounded when they experience overwhelming emotions.

By the end of the episode, all three children have made progress in understanding and controlling their psychic abilities. Maddie feels empowered to use her abilities to help others, Tanner is sleeping better and experiencing fewer night terrors, and Jake feels more confident in his ability to interpret his visions. The psychic mentors leave the children with a sense of hope and optimism for their future, and with the tools they need to continue to develop and control their psychic abilities.
