In Queer Eye season 1 episode 8, titled "My Big Fat Greek Haircut: George K," the Fab Five travel to Marietta, Georgia to help out George, a family man and Greek-American who has let his physical appearance and lifestyle slip to take care of his family and his restaurant. George has become distant from his wife and kids, and has let his health and style decline. The Fab Five plan to help him transform his life through a drastic new haircut, a proper workout routine, and a few valuable lessons in grooming and fashion.

To start off the episode, Jonathan leads George to his salon where he works on his new haircut. Jonathan is amazed at how much George's hair has grown all over his face, so he works on trimming his beard and shortening his hair to make him look more youthful and sophisticated. Meanwhile, Antoni and Bobby went to his restaurant to see how George is doing in the business. Antoni is fascinated by his Greek cuisine, but it appears that the furniture and decor need attention. Bobby takes on the task and spruces up the restaurant, making it more inviting and warm. He also does a light but delicious seafood dish for George, to teach him how to eat healthily without sacrificing the flavors he enjoys.

Furthermore, Tan wants to get George to look sharper and dressed appropriately for the restaurant business while helping him feel confident in himself. He could barely contain his excitement when he saw the many beautiful suits that George had in his closet, and he immediately began tailoring and customizing with George in mind. Karamo wants George to reconnect with his family, in which he arranges something unexpected that involves his wife. The two participate in a dance lesson at a studio, which proved to be quite the test for both of them, but in the end, it provided an opportunity for them to bond.

Throughout the episode, the Fab Five also addresses George's lack of confidence, his worries about his business, and his difficulty in connecting with his family. With each step of his transformation, George's outlook on life starts to change, his confidence begins to grow, and he learns the value of taking care of himself and the importance of family.

Overall, the episode succeeds in highlighting the importance of taking care of oneself and how doing so can lead to an improvement in other areas of life. With their signature blend of sass and positivity, the Fab Five helped George not only to look better but feel better about himself and his life. "My Big Fat Greek Haircut" is yet another episode that showcases the transformative power of the Fab Five and the principles they live by.
