Ranma 1/2 Season 4 Episode 14 Extra, Extra! Kuno & Nabiki: Read All About It!

Extra, Extra! Kuno & Nabiki: Read All About It! is the 14th episode of the fourth season of Ranma ½ series. In this episode, the story revolves around Tatewaki Kuno who has a crush on Akane, and Nabiki Tendo, the money-minded younger sister of Akane.

The episode starts with Kuno announcing to the school that he's going to unveil his latest and greatest poem. As he begins to recite his poem, everyone is taken aback by the fact that it’s actually just an advertisement for his family's konkatsu business. Kuno quickly realizes his mistake and runs out of the room, humiliated.

Nabiki, who was recording Kuno's poem, knows that she can make a fortune with this recording. She blackmails Kuno into letting her sell it as an exclusive scoop to the newspaper. She plans to sell the recording to the newspaper in order to gain more money.

However, things don't go according to her plan. Kuno discovers that Nabiki is planning to exploit his embarrassing moment and threatens to take legal action against her. Nabiki realizes that she's in trouble and turns to Ranma and the others for help.

Ranma and the others come up with a plan to stop Kuno and protect Nabiki. They discover that Kuno has fallen in love with a new character, Kodachi, who is also in love with Ranma. The group decides to use this fact to their advantage and trap Kuno into revealing his love for Kodachi.

With the help of his sister, Kodachi, and Ranma, Kuno is tricked into admitting his love for Kodachi on tape. As a result, Nabiki gains access to the evidence she required to blackmail Kuno into letting her sell his poem to the newspaper. Nevertheless, the twist in the story comes when Kodachi, in an effort to win over Ranma, uses the same recording of Kuno declaring his love for her, in front of Ranma.

To everyone's surprise, Ranma believes Kuno has fallen for Kodachi, and he decides to let them be together. This confuses both Kodachi and Kuno who cannot comprehend why Ranma would be fine with their relationship. The episode ends on a hilarious note as Kuno and Kodachi celebrate their "love" while the rest of the cast discusses, with humor, the bizarre twist that their plan had taken.
