William Jack Duegel prides himself and his restaurant on proving the best customer service possible. Will strongly believes that the customer is king and should be treated that way. On the show Restaurant Stakeout, Will help restaurants that are losing money due to poor customer reviews. Will and his crew want to get to the bottom of the problem and see how the restaurant operates when no one is looking. A restaurant owner contacts the show if they are no losing money. They can have great food but are still losing customers. Will and his team set up hidden cameras in the restaurant so they can watch the employees when the owner is out of the building. Will and the owner then watch the behavior of the staff. The owner has told no one that there will be hidden camera or that the staff is going to be watched. William sets up several customer services test such as returning food, special requests, and general customer services. He is then able to identify the problem areas of the establishment. Some of the behaviors of the employees amazes and saddens the owner. The employees are caught goofing off, on their cell phones, and being rude to customers. They have also been caught giving away free food, drinking alcohol on the job, and stealing money. Some employees have been fired due to their behavior. Will also tells the owner if there is problem with the management and how they can improve running the company to provide better customer service. After watching the employee for a couple of days Will and the owner reveal what they have been doing. Will then sits down with the employees, discusses their behaviors, and gives them ways they can improve to be better at their job. He then comes back six weeks later to see how the restaurant is doing. Thanks to the help from Will and the hidden camera most restaurants are able to fix their customer service issues and once again become profitable.
