Seirei no Moribito focuses on the main character named Balsa who is not only a bodyguard, but she is also a spear wielding wandering warrior on a journey to save lives. During her travels, she meets and rescue a young prince named Chagum, and is assigned to become his bodyguard. Balsa later finds out that Prince Chagum's father, the Emperor has planned to assassinate him. Both Balsa and Chagum both embark on a journey to survival.
