Ep 1. Episode 1 - A Guardian Character is Born!

Amu Hinamori appears to be a cool and tough girl, but in reality, she is shy and lacks self-confidence. One day, as she is on her way to school, she sees a wish-granting egg in her bed. When she tries to touch the egg, it hatches into a Guardian Character named Ran. Ran tells Amu that she has the ability to transform into anyone she wants to be. Amu refuses but Ran stays with her because she believes Amu has the potential to be someone special. Later, Amu's school holds an assembly that is sponsored by the Guardians of Seiyo Elementary School, a group of students who protect the students and school from harm. During the assembly, the Guardians choose Amu to be their new member even though she has no fighting skills or experience. Amu accepts their offer and is given three eggs to take care of, hoping that they will eventually hatch into Guardian Characters.
