Shugo Chara! Season 1 Episode 8 Episode 8 - I've Fallen in Love with Your Eyes!

Amu is at school, daydreaming about Tadase when she bumps into Ikuto. He holds her tightly and wishes her good luck on her future. Amu is flattered but confused, given her growing feelings for Tadase. Later, at the Royal Garden, Tadase asks Amu if she believes that someone can fall in love at first sight. She tells him that she believes it's possible, and he admits that he's in love with someone's eyes. Suddenly, Kukai appears and tells them all about Nadeshiko's plan to enter a beauty pageant.

The next day, Amu, Tadase, and Kukai go to the mall to support Nadeshiko in the pageant. They come across a familiar face: Yaya's older sister, a former beauty queen who is now a model. The two catch up, and Yaya's sister gives her a rose-shaped hairpin to wear in the pageant. Meanwhile, Ikuto sneaks into the dressing room and steals Nadeshiko's costume, replacing it with a clown outfit. Nadeshiko is distraught but is determined to make the best of the situation.

As the show begins, the other Guardians notice that something is wrong. They realize that Nadeshiko's costume has been switched and hurry backstage to find a solution. Amu transforms with Ran and meets up with Tadase at the stage entrance. Together, they distract the judges and allow Nadeshiko to change into her back-up costume. When she comes back out, she stuns the judges with her beauty and poise.

After the show, Amu and Tadase are walking home when they come across a flower garden. They talk about the beauty pageant and their feelings about love. Tadase confesses that he was actually talking about Amu's eyes and how he fell in love with them the first time he saw her. Overwhelmed, Amu runs away. Later that night, she reflects on Tadase's confession and wonders how she truly feels about him.

The next day, Amu is dreading school and her encounter with Tadase. When she arrives at the Royal Garden, Ikuto is waiting for her. He tells her that he's aware of Tadase's feelings for her and encourages her to be honest with him. When Tadase arrives, he thanks Amu for her support during the beauty pageant and tells her that he meant what he said about her eyes. Amu is unable to respond and runs away.

Later, Amu is walking home when she sees Tadase and Nadeshiko together. She's jealous and confused and runs into Ikuto. He comforts her and tells her that it's okay to take her time when it comes to matters of the heart. As they part ways, Amu realizes that she has feelings for both Tadase and Ikuto.

The episode ends with a tense confrontation between Ikuto and Tadase, with Ikuto telling Tadase to stay away from Amu and Tadase denying that he has any intention of hurting her. Amu, caught between the two boys, is unsure of how to proceed.
