Ep 8. Memories Draw Spirals of the Past

Shirayuki and Zen head to Lilias to visit Suzu, an herbalist that Zen met during his time away from the palace. Suzu is worried about her mentor, who has been acting strangely since his daughter Laxdo ran away. Zen and Shirayuki quickly realize that Laxdo was the daughter of the infamous pirate Frow and decide to investigate. Meanwhile, Kiki and Mitsuhide are given an important mission by the Chief Herbalist - to find the rare and expensive herb known as Ice Dew. As they search the mountains for the plant, they come across a group of bandits who have also heard about the herb's valuable properties. Kiki and Mitsuhide must use their skills to protect the herb and complete their mission.

Back in Lilias, Zen and Shirayuki learn more about Laxdo and her past with her father. They also meet Frow, who tells them about his own troubled past and the choices he made as a pirate.
