In Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season 4 episode 8, titled "Little Green Men," the Ferengi bartender Quark and his brother Rom accidentally find themselves transported back in time to Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Along with two other Ferengi crew members, Nog and Odo, they must figure out how to repair their damaged spacecraft and return to their own time.

Upon arriving in 1947, the Ferengi quickly realize that they are in a vastly different world than their own. They are shocked to find that humans are the dominant species on Earth, and they are amazed by the primitive technology of the planet. Nevertheless, they quickly set about trying to repair their ship so that they can return to the 24th century.

As they explore their surroundings, the Ferengi are mistaken for extraterrestrial beings by the military personnel at the nearby Roswell Army Air Field. They are taken into custody by the military and subjected to interrogation, but Quark sees this as an opportunity to negotiate with the humans.

Quark quickly realizes that the humans are naive and easily swayed, and he uses his charm and knowledge of future events to manipulate them into believing that the Ferengi are peaceful explorers. With the help of a sympathetic human scientist named Doctor Mora Pol, the Ferengi are eventually able to create a distraction that allows them to escape from the military base.

As the Ferengi continue to work on repairing their damaged ship, they uncover a conspiracy within the United States government. They discover that a group of rogue military officers are planning to use their advanced technology to take over the world, and they must act quickly to stop them.

The episode is notable for its comedic tone and for the way that it plays with established Star Trek lore. It also features several noteworthy guest stars, including Charles Napier as Colonel Grat, Megan Gallagher as Nurse Garland, and Conner Trinneer as Michael.[1]

Overall, "Little Green Men" is a fun and entertaining episode that showcases the humorous side of Star Trek. It is a must-watch for fans of the franchise and for anyone who enjoys science fiction comedy.
