Strawberry Eggs is a heartwarming and funny anime about Amawa Hibiki, a young man who disguises himself as a woman in order to become a gym teacher at a girls' school. The show is set in modern-day Japan and is filled with colorful characters, comedic moments, and touching lessons about friendship, acceptance, and the importance of being true to oneself.

The show stars Yuji Kishi as Amawa Hibiki, a recent college graduate who is struggling to find work. Hibiki is a kind and caring person who wants to make a difference in the world. When he learns that the local girls' school is hiring a gym teacher, he decides to apply for the job, despite the fact that the school is only accepting female applicants.

To get around this requirement, Hibiki decides to dress up as a woman and apply for the job as a woman. With the help of his friend Fuko (voiced by Mikako Takahashi) and a skilled makeup artist named Kozue (voiced by Fumiko Orikasa), Hibiki is able to convincingly pass as a woman and begins working at the school under the alias of "Hibiki Amawa."

Once at the school, Hibiki discovers that being a teacher is no easy task, especially when most of his students are teenage girls who are more interested in boys and gossip than physical education. Despite these challenges, Hibiki is determined to make a difference in the lives of his students and to help them become more confident and self-assured.

Among Hibiki's students are several standout characters, including Ichiko (voiced by Akeno Watanabe), a talented athlete who is constantly pushing herself to be the best she can be; Aiko (voiced by Yuki Masuda), a shy and introverted girl who is struggling to find her place in the world; and Tetsuko (voiced by Kujira), a brash and outspoken girl who is always ready for a fight.

As the show progresses, Hibiki becomes more and more involved in the lives of his students, helping them overcome their insecurities, form meaningful friendships, and achieve their goals both inside and outside of the classroom. Along the way, he also gains the respect and admiration of his fellow teachers, including the stern but fair Vice Principal Toko (voiced by Omi Minami) and the charming and charismatic Principal Sakiko (voiced by Sumi Shimamoto).

Overall, Strawberry Eggs is a delightful and engaging anime that will appeal to fans of all ages. With its memorable characters, humorous situations, and heartfelt messages, it is a show that is not to be missed. So if you're looking for a fun and uplifting anime that is both entertaining and meaningful, be sure to check out Strawberry Eggs on WOWOW!
