Ep 2. Ser Veresta

Ayato is fascinated by the weapon and spends a lot of time researching it, even going to the library at night to find more information.

As they work on the project together, Ayato and Julis begin to understand each other better. Ayato learns about Julis's difficult past and how she has had to struggle to get to where she is now. Julis realizes that Ayato is not a spy and that he genuinely wants to help her with the project.

Before they can finish the project, Ayato and Julis are interrupted by a group of students who challenge them to a fight. The students are jealous of Ayato and Julis's partnership and want to take them down a peg. Ayato and Julis refuse to back down and engage in a fierce battle with their opponents.

In the end, Ayato and Julis emerge victorious but are injured in the process. They are taken to the school nurse's office where they are treated for their wounds. Ayato apologizes to Julis for getting her involved in the fight, but Julis brushes it off and admits that she enjoyed fighting alongside him.

The episode ends with Ayato and Julis presenting their project on Ser Veresta to the class. They are praised for their work, and Ayato admits that he couldn't have done it without Julis's help.
