Johnny Smith is a former science teacher who has been in a coma for six years following a terrible car accident. When he wakes up, he discovers he has the ability to see into the future and past of individuals who come into contact with him. With this gift, Johnny uses his powers to help law enforcement solve crimes and prevent disasters.

In this episode, titled "The Hunting Party," Johnny once again finds himself working with law enforcement when a group of hunters report finding something they believe to be a UFO crash site. Johnny is skeptical of the hunters' claims until he has a vision of something strange happening in the nearby woods. He feels compelled to investigate and is soon caught up in a dangerous game of hide and seek with the hunters.

As Johnny and the hunters make their way through the woods, Johnny has more visions which make him increasingly uneasy. He begins to suspect that the hunters may be involved in something more sinister than simply searching for a crashed UFO. Meanwhile, Sheriff Walt Bannerman is dealing with his own issues as he tries to decide whether or not to run for re-election.

Eventually, Johnny realizes that the hunters are not looking for a UFO, but rather a much more dangerous animal which has been causing problems in the area. He tries to warn the hunters of the danger they are in, but they refuse to listen to him. It isn't until the beast reveals itself that the hunters understand the full scope of the danger they are in.

Throughout the episode, there are several subplots and character developments which keep things interesting. We see Johnny struggling with his abilities and the toll they are taking on him, as well as the strained relationship between him and his girlfriend. We also see Walt Bannerman grappling with his own personal issues, and the strained relationship he has with his deputy.

Overall, this episode is a tense, action-packed thriller which keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat. With strong performances from the cast and a great script, it is a standout episode in a great series.
