Ep 2. A Knot in Time

In The Galaxy Railways season 1 episode 2 - A Knot in Time, we continue to follow the journey of our main character, Manabu Yuuki, who has just joined the Space Defense Force and become a member of the Galaxy Railways, a fleet of trains that protect and serve the galaxy.

The episode starts out with Manabu and his crew boarding the “Ghost Train,” a train that is rumored to have vanished on its first voyage. As they board, they find that the inside of the train is completely desolate, with no passengers or crew in sight. However, as they make their way through the train, strange occurrences begin to happen. Doors that were once closed are now open, and the crew members start to hear whispers and voices that seem to be coming from nowhere.

As they continue through the train, Manabu comes across a beautiful woman who is sitting alone in one of the compartments, staring out the window. She introduces herself as Meta, and Manabu is immediately drawn to her. However, as they sit and talk, Manabu begins to notice that something is not quite right. Meta seems to know things about him that she shouldn’t, and she also seems to know things about the future that haven’t happened yet.

As the train continues on its journey, the crew members start to realize that they are stuck in some kind of time loop. They keep going back to the same point in time, over and over again, and they can’t seem to break out of it. Manabu becomes increasingly worried about Meta, who seems to be at the center of the loop. He worries that her presence is what is causing it, and he becomes focused on finding a way to break the cycle.

Meanwhile, the other crew members are struggling to deal with the consequences of the time loop. Some of them are becoming increasingly frustrated and angry, while others are becoming resigned to their fate. As the loop continues, tensions start to rise, and the crew members begin to turn on one another.

As the episode progresses, we start to see the true nature of the time loop. It turns out that Meta is a woman who has been trapped on the train for centuries, reliving the same day over and over again. She has been trying to break the cycle for years, and she believes that Manabu is the key to doing so. However, as the crew members start to turn on one another, and the loop continues, it becomes clear that breaking the cycle will not be easy.

In the end, Manabu discovers the solution to the time loop, but it comes at a cost. As the train hurtles towards its inevitable demise, Manabu must make a difficult decision that will change the course of his life forever.
