Ep 23. Best Handsome

It's time for prom, and everyone is getting excited. Adam is especially excited because he is convinced that he is going to win the title of Best Handsome at the dance. Meanwhile, Erica is feeling down because she doesn't have a date, but Barry tries to cheer her up by telling her that he has a surprise for her.

As the day of the prom approaches, Adam gets more and more pumped up about his chances of winning. He's been preparing his hair and his outfit for weeks, and he's sure that he looks better than ever. When he arrives at the dance, he's disappointed to see that there are a lot of other guys who are just as good-looking as he is.

Meanwhile, Erica is pleasantly surprised when Barry shows up at her house wearing a tuxedo. She assumes that he's her date, but he tells her that he's just taking her to the dance because he doesn't want her to be alone. Erica is touched by Barry's gesture, and the two of them head to the prom together.

At the dance, Adam is still determined to win the title of Best Handsome. He tries to stand out by doing a series of ridiculous dance moves that he learned from a 1980s aerobics video. However, nobody seems to find his antics funny or impressive. Meanwhile, Erica and Barry are having a great time dancing together and enjoying each other's company.

As the night goes on, Adam begins to feel like a loser. He's convinced that he's not as good-looking or as popular as the other guys at the dance. However, when he overhears a group of girls talking about him, he starts to feel better. They're giggling and pointing at him, and he assumes that they're making fun of him. However, when he goes over to talk to them, he realizes that they're actually giving him a compliment. They think he's hilarious and adorable, and they tell him that he's the best thing that's happened to prom all night.

Meanwhile, Erica and Barry are still dancing and having a good time. Erica is surprised to realize that she's actually having fun with her brother. She never thought that they could enjoy each other's company so much. As the night draws to a close, Erica and Barry share a sweet sibling moment and head home together.

Back at home, Adam is still riding high on his newfound confidence. He tells his parents all about his night at the prom and how he won over a group of girls with his dance moves. Beverly and Murray are proud of their son and happy that he had a good time. They're also happy to hear that Erica and Barry had a good time together, and they're relieved that their kids are getting along.

In the end, everyone is happy and exhausted from their big night. Adam didn't win the title of Best Handsome, but he doesn't care. He's realized that it's more important to be himself and have fun than it is to try to impress other people. Erica and Barry have a newfound appreciation for each other, and Beverly and Murray are thankful that their family is getting along so well. It's been a great night for the Goldbergs!
