Ep 21. The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya II

The Overmind explains that it has been watching them for some time, and is interested in Haruhi's abilities to manipulate reality.

As they attempt to make their way back to their own dimension, the SOS Brigade members encounter various obstacles and challenges along the way, including a group of giant mechs and a never-ending staircase. Eventually, they are able to return to their own dimension, but not before the Data Overmind delivers a cryptic message about the future.

As the episode comes to a close, the SOS Brigade members are left to ponder the true nature of their existence and the world around them.
