Mydoom suggests that the mojis should give up, but the friends continue to show resistance. To stop the virus attack, the friends need to take the talking crook away from Fidolord, then he will turn back into Major Scanson. The friends find Fidolord in the Quarantine, but they can't cope with him.

Brainpot figures out that the attack at the city portal is the smokescreen used by Fidolord to capture the Antivirus' website. The friends go back there to let the mojis out of the Recovery Centre. But Fidolord manages to disconnect all hyperlinks, and the mojis fail to get out of the Antivirus' website.

The friends can't stop Crazy and get into a trap. Fringe manages to convince Crazy that he is not a virus. Crazy regains his consciousness, but remembers nothing. Meanwhile, a moji named Oculus helps the friends decipher the records in Major Scanson's notebook. Beggar finds out that Doctor Hack once turned Major Scanson into Fidolord by means of a supervirus - a talking crook.

Antivirus launches troubleshooting in Mojitown and makes a decision to put the place under quarantine. Meanwhile, the friends find Major Scanson's notebook and go to the Wiki-Wiki library to decipher it. Doctor Hack kidnaps Crazy and infects him with a virus. Infected Crazy attacks the Wiki-Wiki library with spam.

In Doctor Hack's laboratory the friends learn that he works for Fidolord. He orders Doctor Hack to delete the friends, but they manage to escape. Doctor Hack steals the flash drive with the virus source codes and frames the friends leaving them on the crime scene.

The friends go to the Social networks and discover that Beggar is somehow connected with Major Scanson. Beggar tells the friends that Major Scanson knew about the traitor in Antivirus. The friends leave for the Quarantine to tell Antivirus about the mole, but Antivirus doesn't want to hear anything, their only desire is to arrest the friends.

Moji goes to the Valley of the abandoned websites to find help for Fringe and gets into an ambush. Gangster saves Moji from the criminals and persuades his wife to help Fringe. While Gangster's wife is helping Fringe, Gangster tells the friends about Major Scanson.

The worms fail to delete Point's house. The friends get inside and find Point's notebook as well as a remodeled deletor and a device protecting against viruses there. Glitch neutralizes the worms, and on the head of one of them the friends notice a camera which makes clear that all this was plotted by Fidolord.

The mojis learn about a new sensational exhibition in the museum where Guide tells everybody about the history of Mojitown and the hero called Major Scanson who devoted all his life to fighting against viruses, but who disappeared without a trace. Mojitown is attacked by worms sent by Fidolord.

The friends return to Mojitown and find out that all the mojis have gathered at the tunnel to the Internet. They were gathered there by mojibrowsers who advertise the Internet. Brainpot is disappointed to see that all discoveries he was planning to make in the Internet will now be available to everyone, and is trying not to let the mojis get into the Internet, but he fails.

The friends find out that "orange" is a "joy shield" that protects the aliens' site from despondency. The shield is activated by special crystals, one of which was stolen by Mydoom. The friends manage to get the crystals back, and the joy shield is shining all over the aliens' site again.

Having arrived at the aliens' website the friends find out that the aliens always follow the directions of the Book of Prophecies. The abduction of Fringe was also prophesied in the Book. The aliens had to kidnap Fringe to make her their queen.

Crazy makes futile attempts to set off and search for Fringe, in the end he decides to tell the friends about the incident. Brainpot, Moji and Glitch leave for the Internet looking for Fringe and learn that they themselves are being looked for by Antivirus.

Moji is envious of Glitch's popularity, and he decides to appear on Mojihost's show and tell everybody about Point's note, in which he confesses he's a virus. The friends blame Moji for his behavior.

Fidolord tells of his reasons to attack Mojitown. Once FidoNet was a prosperous land. Thousands of people communicated via it, and flat smilies were very popular. But with the advance of the Internet, Fido was deserted. Mojis superseded smilies, and smilies want to revenge. Point - a virus! - was one of their leaders, but he came to like Mojitown and stayed there.

Back on the Web, Moji, Fringe, Brainpot and Glitch find the entrance to Fido Land. They are lucky to escape from Mydoom, who was awaiting them there. Mydoom can't infiltrate Fido, and so the friends are free to proceed with their quest.

To stop the friends Mydoom calls the Antivirus service and informs them that Glitch is in the library. Fringe's friendly web-aliens help the friends to run - at last Moji and Fringe realize she wasn't making things up! The friends zap to Gangster, who reveals that Mydoom came from the Fido Land.

Proffessor Megabit convinces his fellow mojis that the Internet exists by producing an email he did steal from the mailbox. The email contains a term paper about the Web, and among other things, it reads that when "@" goes missing, it results in reinstallation. Mojis are shocked - they are doomed!

The friends see Glitch being arrested by the Antivirus arrest. Fringe suggests they need to get Glitch out of the Quarantine - despite his talent of jinxing and breaking things he is Internet-(street)-wise and is able to help with finding Mydoom.

The friends find themselves on the Web - an endless universe of planet-websites. Moji, Fringe and Brainpot end up at a city portal. They meet other mojis, and learn to operate a "hyperlink" booth, which enables them to travel the Internet in a blink of an eye.

The friends explore the tunnel. It leads to a strange passage: "Network Port" reads the mind-boggling sign hanging over it. The friends are afraid to follow the route, when suddenly Point enters the scene. Without much detail he reveals that Athos is kidnapped by Mydoom, the Virus.

The upgrade doesn't help find Athos. Threatening to reveal, that it was they, who scared half of Mojitown, Fringe makes Moji and Brainpot to help her find the thief's tunnel. Brainpot conducts a scientific experiment, and the tunnel is indeed found.

The User discovers that @ vanishes and he is unable to communicate via Web. The User launches troubleshooting and a crowd of comical Repairers descend upon Mojitown. They wreak havoc, but it doesn't help to find Athos.

The mailbox is found in Megabit's cache, but Athos is still missing. Megabit is put under lock. Fringe believes he is innocent, as the thief she saw only carried Athos, but not the mailbox.

Point is a reclusive moji, who is strangely not so round as the rest of the pack. Moji and Brainpot come to his house at night to play a joke, but they become witnesses to a heated dialog between Point and a hooded stranger, who sounds a lot like Megabit.

Mojitown is a small village in a digital valley, where Mojicons process emails sent by the User. The population consists of blue-collars, technical staff operating the Mission Control Center, and creative types, who perform emotions and whose likenesses are inserted into messages.
