Ep 1. Ground Rules

Jack, Janet, and Chrissy are back for another season of the hit sitcom Three's Company! In the season 2 premiere episode, titled "Ground Rules," the trio find themselves clashing over the rules of their shared living arrangement.

As the episode opens, Jack is excitedly preparing for his new job as a chef at a local restaurant. However, his enthusiasm is tempered when Janet and Chrissy inform him that they have made a few changes to the apartment's ground rules. They explain that they now expect Jack to do more of the household chores, including cleaning the bathroom and taking out the trash.

Jack is initially taken aback by this sudden change in expectations, but he eventually agrees to the new rules on the condition that Janet and Chrissy help him with some of his own obligations. Specifically, he asks them to help him practice for an upcoming job interview by pretending to be difficult customers at his restaurant.

As the trio begins rehearsing, it quickly becomes apparent that there are some deeper underlying issues at play. Janet and Chrissy are frustrated with Jack for not contributing enough to the household, while Jack feels that they are taking advantage of him. Tensions mount as the trio bicker and argue, until finally Mr. Roper, the landlord, intervenes.

Mr. Roper agrees to mediate the dispute between the roommates, and the trio soon realizes that they all share some responsibility for the conflicts in their living situation. With Mr. Roper's guidance, they are able to come to a compromise that works for everyone.

In the end, "Ground Rules" serves as a reminder that even the best of friends can sometimes struggle to share living space and maintain healthy relationships. Through laughter and tears, the characters of Three's Company continue to navigate the ups and downs of adulthood, forming a bond that will carry them through many seasons to come.
