Ep 3. Nasty Delights

As the contestants entered the Top Chef kitchen for the third episode of the season, they were greeted with a treacherous challenge: creating a dish using ingredients that are traditionally considered "nasty." The judges, including head judge Tom Colicchio, gathered around as they revealed the proteins the chefs would be working with: chicken livers, beef tongue, pig feet, and quail eggs.

Chef Lee Anne's chicken liver dish was called out for being too salty, while Chef Stephen's pig feet dish was criticized for being too greasy.

After much deliberation, the judges announced the winners of the challenge: Chef Tiffani for her flavorful quail egg dish, and Chef Harold for his creative and well-executed beef tongue creation. However, for some chefs, the challenge proved to be too much, and two contestants were ultimately sent home: Chef Stephen and Chef Lisa.

As the episode came to a close, the remaining contestants were left to reflect on the challenge and prepare for what was to come next. The stakes were high, and the competition was only getting more intense. But for now, the chefs could take comfort in the fact that they had made it through the Nasty Delights challenge and lived to cook another day.
