In the fifth episode of season 2 of Untamed And Uncut titled "Lions, Camera, Action!", viewers are taken on a wild ride through the African savannah to witness some of the most daring and dangerous encounters with lions ever captured on film. The episode explores the fascination of getting up close and personal with these magnificent predators and the risks that come along with it.

The episode begins with a group of filmmakers who set out to document a pride of lions in their natural habitat. They soon realize that getting close enough to the lions to get the shots they need is not as easy as they thought. They opt to use a camera-equipped remote-control car to get close to the lions without putting anyone in harm's way. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when one of the lions takes a destructive interest in the camera.

Next, viewers are taken to a different part of the savannah, where another group of filmmakers are attempting to get close to a pride of lions. However, they decide to try a different approach than the remote control car -- they use a specially designed "lionskin" camera cover to disguise their camera as a lion cub in the hopes of getting a closer look at the pride. But, as it turns out, their disguise is not as convincing as they thought, and they quickly draw the attention of the alpha male.

The episode then takes a closer look at some of the people who make their living capturing footage of lions in the wild, including a cameraman who has spent years documenting the life of one particular pride in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. He shares his experiences of filming the pride as they hunt, play and interact with each other. He also talks about the challenges of working in such a dangerous environment, and the close calls he has had while attempting to capture the perfect shot.

The episode then moves on to highlight the potential consequences of getting too close to lions in the wild. One segment shows how even experienced wildlife biologists can fall prey to lions when they let their guard down for just a moment. Another segment examines how human activity is affecting lion populations around the world, particularly in Africa where lion numbers have declined significantly in recent years.

The final segment of the episode highlights the incredible footage captured by a group of filmmakers in the Serengeti. They used a special camera rig that allowed them to track a lioness and her cubs as they hunted for food. The camera suspended from a helicopter captures stunning footage of the pride in action as they stalk their prey and make kills.

"Lions, Camera, Action!" offers viewers a unique look at the world of lions and the people who dedicate their lives to capturing their movements and behavior on film. The episode strikes a balance between showcasing the beauty and power of these magnificent creatures while also conveying the danger that comes with getting too close to them. Overall, it's an enthralling episode that serves as a reminder of just how awesome and awe-inspiring the natural world can be.
